How can I join the designer community of TofuKungFu?
  First, we would like to thank you for expressing your interest because we are always looking for talented designers such as yourself.  If you are interested in becoming a dedicated designer for TofuKungFu, please register an account with us and send an email to support@tofukungfu.com with your name and contact information.  An officer will get back to you to discuss the possibility of joining our group.  In addition, please review the "Designer Agreement Terms" under Terms and Conditions for more information.
What is the compensation for the designer?
  Designer will be compensated with 10% of net profit per T-shirt sold.  Payments will be made once a month to the designers via check.  Designer will be provided with monthly sales statistics.  In addition, Designer will be compensated with two T-shirts featuring their design.
What are the terms and agreement for the designer?
 
  1. Invited or applicant Designer will initially meet with a TofuKungFu (TKF) Officer to understand the business vision, objectives, roles, and responsibilities.
  2. If Designer agrees and decides to join TKF, he or she would provide TKF with three initial Chinese-American-themed T-shirt designs or sketches within 2 weeks timeframe
    • Designs can only be merchandised and distributed by TKF
  3. The reviewing process of the designs may take up to 10 days.
  4. TKF will subsequently schedule a 30-60 minute conference call with Designer to discuss selected design.
    • TKF may select one design for production.
    • Designs not initially selected will be kept on file for future consideration.
    • TKF will bear the manufacturing, logistic, and marketing costs of all design products. Designer would not be responsible for any previously mentioned items or activities.
    • After sales of initial design, Designer is expected to provide TKF with one design concept every month.
  5. Designs are to be in the formats requested by TKF.
  6. There are two design methods,
    • Screen printing for simple design 1-2 colors on 1 side of T-shirt
      • 300 dpi or vector file.
      • Can print on white, light, and dark T-shirts.
      • 15" x 19" image size.
    • Digital printing for complex full color gradient design on 1 side of T-shirt
      • 150 dpi or vector file.
      • Can print on white, light T-shirts (shirt color may affect image).
      • 14" x 16" image size.
  7. Designer will be compensated with 10% of net profit per T-shirt sold. Payments will be made once a month to the designers via check. Designer will be provided with monthly sales statistics.
